ARTISTS STATEMENT
Since relocating to Tasmania my paintings have increasingly become
concerned with dense forest interiors. They focus on the particularity of
intimate landscapes at ground level. The secrecy in the scattering of debris
on the bush floor and the singularity of a tangle of fallen branches hint at
grandeur in the “littleness” of the natural world.
